Windham Automated Machines, Inc., (WAM) is a full-service automation and custom machine design and fabrication provider. Since 1984, WAM has provided innovative, cost effective, efficient and highly reliable custom designed automation systems and machines from concept through installation. In addition to the design and manufacture of custom automation systems and machines, WAM's customers have found that the unique combination of creativity, manufacturing knowledge, mechanical, electrical and software capabilities, make WAM perfectly suited to develop and manufacture standard products.WAM is often called upon to either fully develop or assist with the development of customers' standard products. We are typically involved with the early concept stages, initial designs, prototyping, early production and with final high volume production. These products often range from small simple devises to complete "machines" that are either used by the customer, or are to be sold as a customers' product.
WAM has been able to continue to develop its operations to include all of the disciplines necessary to accomplish the tasks requested. We do not utilize "outside" design or manufacturing services. All work is accomplished by regular full time employees and within WAM's facility. This allows WAM to control the quality, costs and lead times of each and every project assuring full budget and schedule compliance.
