The scope of our projects involve many facets of engineering and manufacturing, including simple to complex, one-of-a-kind automation systems and high volume production.

Our corporate offices and manufacturing facilities occupy a turn-of-the-century stone building in historic Mansfield, Connecticut. This building once served as a mill that generated power from the Natchaug River.

Responsibilities and specific requirements for positions are listed below. All combinations of capabilities relating to responsibilities are given serious consideration. PLC and machine logic experience helpful in all positions.


Project Engineers

Full-project responsibility, including scheduling of resources, technical management, customer coordination/interface, direct supervision of design and drafting personnel, budget and schedule compliance and coordination with manufacturing.

Applications Engineers

Develop concepts to meet customer requirements, estimate costs, write proposals, present proposals to customers, strong presentation, communication, and follow up skills.

Mechanical Designers

CAD layout design and drafting of mechanisms, components for machining, full assembly systems, automation components, machine design, feeding systems, etc. Direct custom machine experience very helpful.

Draftsman

CAD design, capable of creating manufacturable details from designers' layouts, including tolerancing, material specifications, etc. Geometric tolerancing and ANSI standard drawing practices helpful.

Machine Logic Experts

Creating PLC based machine control systems, including design/selection of components, wiring schematics, programming, pneumatic design schematics, selection of pneumatic components, assembly and assembly supervision, testing, troubleshooting, etc.

Machinists/Toolmakers

All levels and combinations of experience considered, including conventional machining on lathes, millers, grinders, CNC setup and operation, primarily one-of-a-kind parts made directly from engineering drawings. Occasional small lot runs. Machinists and toolmakers assemble their own parts into working machines during the assembly phase of production.

Fabricators/Welders

All levels and combinations of experience relating to welding and sheet metal fabrication considered. Welding includes MIG, TIG and Stick. Sheet metal work includes small press brake, shears and general fabrication of machine guards and parts. Painting experience helpful.

Assemblers

Assembly of one-of-a-kind machines and production machines and equipment. Duties include pneumatic system assembly, wiring, mechanical assembly, etc.
